Eastern Instruments' solids flow measurement devices are highly customizable and can be utilized in a variety of applications and installation locations. Over the years, we have developed some of these options into their own product lines to maximize their effectiveness in both measuring and feeding solids as accurately and repeatably as possible. VEHICLE FILLING STATION
In order to accurately fill both railcars and trucks with nearly any product from granular pellets and grains to powders, customers have installed the CentriFlow Meter. The Railcar and Truck Loadout System enables you to program multiple compartment fills or to customize each fill as required.
BULK DENSITY METER
The CentriFeeder has an optional bulk density output that can be transmitted by various communication protocols including Ethernet/IP. Utilizing patented CentriFlow mass flow measurement technology which is based on the principal of Centripetal Force, a true mass flow measurement is obtained as the product stream passes over the Measurement Pan (no sampling is required). Meanwhile, the Integrated Control Valve, which is controlled to within 1 part in 1000 based on stroke, ensures that an extremely precise measurement of the volume of product is taken at the same time that the mass flow is being measured. The result is a highly accurate, dynamic bulk density measurement.
EXTENDED HEAT FEEDER
The CentriFeeder CFH is a device that can measure and feed granular products that are at extremely high temperatures. The CFH is capable of measuring materials that can reach up to 930 F (500 C). The CentriFeeder CFH is not only designed to withstand extremely high temperatures, but is also able to deal with the thermal distortion that occurs as the temperature of the material changes, such as during start up and shut down. The result is a highly accurate feed of product at extreme temperatures.
