The CentriFlow Meter from Eastern Instruments is a Solid Particle Mass Flow Meter that is durable, accurate, maintenance-free, compact, and cost-effective. It is unique and positioned to replace weigh belts, impact meters, loss in weight meters, and static weigh scales, anywhere that accuracy, low maintenance, and zero drift are paramount. Utilizing the patented CentriFlow Technology, the CentriFlow Meter offers accurate, cost-effective and simple solutions to your process measurement needs.
All of the meters in the CentriFlow family of meters can be configured as a Type II Meter. The Type II Meter comes fully enclosed in a Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel enclosure which can be installed after feed devices such as rotary valves, screw conveyors or bucket elevators for the accurate and dependable flow measurement of virtually any product including powders and dusty products.
The CentriFlow Type II solids flow meter utilizes patented CentriFlow Technology, just as every CentriFlow mass flow meter in order to deliver a quick and accurate mass flow measurement signal. Similar in function to the Type I meter, the Type II meter comes with an added enclosure that houses the meter and completely encloses the system. The Type II Meter is perfect for dusty or powdery products and is designed for vertical feed systems that enable product to flow in a vertical direction such as rotary airlocks, screw conveyors or slide gates. This configuration is ideal for processes with highly pulsating flows or for products that require a contained or enclosed process.
TYPE II POWDER ORIENTATION
The CentriFlow Type II - Powder meter has been modified to better accommodate the flow of a variety of powders whose tendency is to stick or coat flow surfaces, or pose a variety of risks, including explosion hazards.
TYPE II FREE FLOWING ORIENTATION
Free flowing materials like pellets, plastic granules or other non-powdery materials can also be measured using the CentriFlow Type II Meter. For these applications, the Type II Free Flowing meter is perfect as it is oriented for products that are less likely to stick or coat flow surfaces.
