I. Equilibrate: Material batches of 10 to15 gallons will be run through meter 10 times to equilibrate the unit. Equilibrate means allowing the material to build up on the measurement surfaces to a point where the material can not build up any further.
II. Calibration: Run five 10 to 15 gallon batches of material through the meter and record the meterfs mass flow output versus the weight of each batch falling into a weighing bucket as measured on a certified scale. Take the average differential between meterfs mass flow output and the scale readings and determine the calibration voltage offset. Adjust the calibration voltage accordingly.
III. Test: Run five 10 to 15 gallons batches of material through the meter at the desired rate(s) and record the meterfs mass flow output. Record the weight of each batch falling into a weighing hopper as measured on a certified scale.
IV. Calculate Accuracy as a percent of Reading. Calculate Standard Deviation.
